Team Liv Open Ride - Surrey Hills including Box Hill

Our next Giant Camden Team Liv open ride will be held this Saturday 22nd of April starting at 8.30am from the Giant Store Camden. Please register for the ride using the form. Ride leaders are much appreciated and will have their train fare reimbursed.

We will be heading to the Surrey Hills with Box Hill Lookout the final destination before returning down to the station. The route is hilly and I estimate it will take approx 3hrs for the slowest group in case we split into groups. This ride is designed to make the Surrey Hills more accessible. If you've always wanted to ride up Box Hill but never quite got there, this ride may be for you.

We'll get return trains from Waterloo to Dorking. Feel free to book your ticket in advance, my return cost me £14.10.

Our train leaves at 9:24am from platform 1 at Waterloo. We'll ride as a group, leaving Giant at 8:35a We arrive at Dorking at 10:13 and will start our main ride then.

The route is 40km and has 3 main hills. There's a quick cafe/loo stop at the 27km mark near Leatherhead.

We'll aim to get the 13:32 train back but there are later trains if required.
